Discussing women’s rights with one of my role models, Ruth Bader Ginsburg

I was diagnosed with Type-One Diabetes (T1D) when I was seven years old and many aspects of my life changed. I spent countless hours in the nurse’s office, had many close calls, and had to think about my health in an entirely different light. I found my voice by speaking up for what I believe in: equitable access to health care, the support of medical innovation, fair insulin pricing, awareness initiatives, and more. Having T1D forces you to face inequities in public health and health. You can see more of my work in the “Activism” tab.
